Self-drilling anchor can be installed for pre-support, acting as steel structure for load-bearing, or thought it grouting to achieve better geological condition.

Characteristics

No casings required, because anchor bars can be drilled into loose soils without needing casings to support the boreholes.
Both rope threads and trapezoid threads are robust and ideal for rotary-percussive drilling and ensuring a high level of bond with the borehole gout.
Fast drilling and installation, drilling, installation and grouting processes are in a single operation.
The hollow core not only serves for flushing during drilling, but also for grouting after drilling.
Continuous threads ensure that the bars can be cut and coupled or extended at any point.
Different anchor bits are available for different ground conditions.

Hollow Anchor Bar

Hollow anchor bar is the body of a self-drilling anchor, as a hollow steel tube with an outer round thread, hollow anchor has the sacrificial anchor bit connected at one side, plate and nut connected at the other;

Coupling

The couplings are used to link anchor bars to make the anchor longer, thus promote its installation depth.

Nut

The nut locks the plate, transmits force from anchor bar to plate and finally to the working face.

Plate

The plate transmits load force from the self-drilling anchor system to the work face.

Drill Bit

Drill bit is the front part of the self-drilling anchor system, by cutting and drilling rocks and other geological structures, the anchor could be sent to the designed depth.

Adapter

Via the adapter, larger drill bits could be linked to the anchor bar.
